Our clients are the most important part of our day!

Visique Rose Optometrists, we really care about your eyes. Together our team of three optometrists and eight staff have over 160 years of optometry experience. State of the art technology and dedication to providing the best optical experience in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, embodies our philosphy – we go further to help you see more.

Feel free to book in for an eye examination to find out more about us.

We have also invested in the latest technology and have purchased testing equipment specifically for the use in eye disease. Equipment used in the practice currently includes:

  • Corneal Topography – Medmont E300

Corneal topography is used in the prescribing of contact lenses for keratoconus and orthokeratology and the management of eye disease.

  • Optical Coherence Tomography – Heidelberg Spectralis

This machine is like an MRI machine however it uses light to build a 3D image of the eye. We utilise this machine in the monitoring of eye diseases such as Macular Degeneration and Glaucoma

  • Tear Lab – Tear Science

This machine collects a tiny sample of your tears (50 micro litres) and provides a useful indicator of dry eye. It enables us to accurately select the appropriate drop regime and treatment pathway to solve dry, watery, or itchy eyes.

  • IPL – France Medical

This is a treatment for dry eye and has changed the way we help patients to have clear sight without the degradation in the quality of vision.

  • Blephex

Blephex is used to treat patients with demodex infestation. Demodex is a mite that lives inside the eyelash follicle.

  • Auto refraction – Nidek

This machine helps us to determine the measurement and strength of your eyesight prior to an examination.

  • FDT Visual Fields

Visual fields machines help us to monitor and manage glaucoma.

  • Trueview – Hoya

When selecting glasses we now use technology to more accurately provide a custom spectacle/glasses lens correction solution.

The children’s vision clinic was launched in 2011 and focusses on an area of optometry called Behavioural optometry. This focuses mainly on the eye muscles of the eye and the focus system.

As we introduce more specialty clinics this page will be updated. Our goal is to provide the latest in Innovative EyeCare and Individual EyeWear for all of our patients.
