A word from our team

Hi there, my name is Zhanna, and I was born and raised in Almaty, Kazakhstan. My professional education was to be a public health specialist. In 2003 I met my future Kiwi husband while he was working in Kazakhstan. We married in 2005, and have three wonderful children.

In 2018 we moved to New Zealand, settling in the Waikato. My neighbour and good friend, who worked for Roses, suggested that I might be a good addition to the Rose Optometry team during their 2021 expansion. I was fortunate to become a member of the Roses family, and I love the positive working atmosphere and buzzing client relationships. I’ve gained skills in optical pre-testing, additional optical scans and tests, dry eye treatment, and client service relations.

In future I would like to enhance my current professional skills, expanding in clinical related procedures. I really look forward to a long and positive working relationship growing with Roses.”
